The Sefton Borough
Partnership (SBP) was established in 1999 as a strategic
Partnership body. It became Sefton's designated Local Strategic
Partnership (LSP) in February 2001 and has taken on major
responsibilities regarding social, environmental and economic
well-being of the Borough.
Latest News
Governance Review
Sefton Council is undertaking a full Governance Review. This
Review will not only include the requirements to consider the new
style Leader or Elected Mayor governance models set out in the
Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 but will
be a much wider Review embracing all aspects of Governance,
Accountability and Overview and Scrutiny, the scope of which will
include a number of bodies such as the Sefton Borough
Partnership.
